Augmented Reality

AUGMENTED REALITY ABOUT THE SOLAR SYSTEM 

Last project! We have voted to select the subject of work, between augmented reality and scape room, unfortunately for the group, augmented reality came out. We all thought it was the hardest topic to deal with between the two, but at the same time, the most interesting and something new for us.

We started to work, and first of all, we researched the two programs that the teacher provided us; ROAR and AUMENTATY.

Roar, is an application easy to use, that makes it easy for us to use 3D pictures, videos, images, audios, text, even geolocation. But it has certain negative aspects, such as the option to just put a  video, ten texts, one 3D image, one audio and ten pictures. This made us think about using this app, as we were not free to use all the tools we'd like for our project. 

Next, we turn to research the second program.

Aumentaty is an application in Spanish, it is harder to use than Roar, when moving 3D images, get the right size... It features a multitude of useful tools, such as images, videos, audios, text, 3D models and links. In addition, the program had a photo library, where you could search for images in the same application, without having to obtain them over the Internet.

Finally, we chose the Aumentaty application, even if it was more complex because we could make unlimited use of the tools. 

The group decided to make augmented reality with respect to the solar system, a subject we had worked on before. 

After several working sessions, we successfully completed our augmented reality project.

Through the application Scope, installed on the phone or tablet, made us see the finished project.
